Great Movie

The audio and visual quality of the Chariots of Fire Blu-ray is very good, not outstanding, but very good nonetheless. There are quite a few extras that are all very interesting, and the film itself is very gripping and entertaining, something of a classic.

Chariots of Fire

I hadn't seen Chariots of Fire before but with the Olympic coverage being filled with 'that tune', I decided to check it out. I was quite surprised, it is a film that focuses on determination, pride and belief. It probably wouldn't get made today, which is a shame. All in all, a must see for any Olympic fan!

My Chariot's on Fire

Loved the Chariots of Fire when it first came out and I still do, thirty years on. Buy the film and reignite that Olympic feeling!

Olympic disaster

My wife and I were enjoying the film, particularly following the terrific opening ceremony, only to be thwarted by the disc sticking as Lord Lindsay (Nigel Havers) was about to take part in his hurdles race. All my efforts to resume viewing came to nothing, and as this spoiled our Saturday night, I re-enacted the discus final and threw it out of the window. I must say that had I been able to watch the film until the end, I would have awarded it 5 stars. Luckily I saw the film when first released, so know the results. Well done Team Great Britain!
